Claudia groaned in frustration as she did the dishes. Things had been tense in the apartment over the last few days. Lynne's anger, Gloria's illness, and Lisa's unwillingness to accept help had greatly upset Katie. As a result of the chaos back home Katie had sulked for the better part of the week. Although Kellie and Claudia were trying their best to cheer her up it was having little affect.
"Ugh hope things start getting better soon," she grumbled. "Katie is starting to make me worry."
As Claudia put the last of the dishes away she heard a commotion in the living room. "Katie that you," she asked. "Hope your not messing up the living room, I just finished cleaning." When Claudia heard no response she snorted and began to stomp out of the kitchen. Entering the living she paused as she stared at the group of teenagers.
"Gloria," she questioned. "Lynne? What the hell are you doing here? Why is Kellie a teenager? What the hell is going on? Katie get out here?"
Lynne and Gloria looked anxiously around as they looked over their sisters college apartment. Tjey jad been hoping to see their sister but found Claudia instead. Umfortunately Claudia did not appear ro be thrilled to have uninvited guests. "Claudia," Gloria said. "Its okay, we just wanted to see Katie and Kellie."
"How can you want to see Kellie when shes standing right there," she exclaimed. "Also what the hell are you two doing here? Kel you know damn well Lisa and Katie are going to have a shit fit that these two are useing magic, havent things been crazy enough as is?"
"Umm Claudia," Lymme replied sheepishly. "Thats not the Kellie your used to."
Katie had been getting dressed as she heard her roommate yelling. "Whats goimg on out there," she mumbled. Wrapping a towel aroumd her hair she made her way towards Claudia, only to gape at the teens in her living room.
"Gloria? Lynne?" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here? And...is that my mom?!?!?"
"Wait what," Claudia asked curiously. "Katie what the hell are you talking about?"
Katie furrowed her brow as she stared angrily at her sisters and her teenage mother. Sighing she looked over at Claudia. "Claud," she groaned. "There's something I need to tell you about. Afterwards though I am going to chew these three out."
"Katie," Kellie said quickly. "Just say it fast okay. I dont have alot of time."
Katie paused as she looked at her mother. Kellie seemed pale and sickly as she stood in the room. "Whats wrong," she asked.
Kellie swooned slightly, she was feeling exhausted just standing there. "This is the first time I've crossed into this timeline," she sighed. "I can feel myself getting weaker, losing strength. I...I probably only have 20 minutes before I have to go back."
"Okay hold up," Claudia exclaimed. "Who is this girl? And why the hell is she hanging out with Gloria and Lynne?"
"Claudia," Kellie said weakly. "This...is going to be really strange to here. I'm not the Kellie you know. I'm from another timeline. My name is Kellie Pendragon...before that I was Kellie O'Toole."
Claudia paused as she gazed at the teenage girl. "Wait are you related to Katie or something?"
"Yeah," Kellie smirked. "I'm her mom."
Claudia stared dumbfounded at the girl. Looking between her friend, Katie's sisters, and this girl claiming to be Katies long dead mother, she was at a loss for words.
"Claudia take a seat," Katie sighed. "We have a stoey to tell you and apparently not alot of time."
