Things had certainly been interesting since arriving at the hotel. Kellie and the others were shocked when Lilith and Marilyn decided to have a chat over tea. After settling into their rooms the guests now found themselves with a bit of free time. The rehearsal dinner would be tomorrow with the wedding taking place the day after. As Kellie now began to unpack her things she smiled.
"Hey Kellie," Jack said as he opened the door to her room. "Katie wanted to see us in her room." Kellie nodded, following the teenage warlock down the hall. As they walked they could see the others milling about. Glancing into the various rooms they could see their friends chatting with the doppelgangers from the other timeline.
"Well looks like everyone is getting along," Jack stated as they watched the teenage Samantha coo at her doppelgangers daughter. "Yeah things are going great so far," Kellie said, before stifling a laugh. "Well for the most part."
Curious Jack now turned to where Kellie was pointing, sighing before a grin spread across his face. Bob and Vixi appeared to have stumbled into the adult Mika and Claudia's room. Kari appeared quite taken with the animatronic furry, chortling happily as she now tugged at Vixi's tail. As Mika tried to apologize, Claudia found herself warily looking over the anthro demon that was chaperoning her.
"Think those four will be alright," Jack asked.
"Cmon we both know Bob wont hurt them," Kellie scoffed. "Besides I'd be more worried about Ayami and Rexie."
"They should be on their best behavior," Jack said. "Lilith, Circe and Baba kind of read them the riot act before we came here." As the teen couple now reached their daughters room they knocked, only opening it after Katie called them in. As the two entered they were pleasantly surprised to see Ann and Lisa waiting with Katie.
"Hey sis," Lisa said happily, hugging her sister before glancing at her stomach. "Geez you look ready to burst."
"Ugh tell me about it," Kellie groaned, grasping her stomach. "Kid is giving me indigestion." Lisa smiled before turning towards Jack, a frown spreading across her face. "So is this the ass that did this?"
Kellie shifted uncomfortably as both Ann and Lisa approached, a stern look on their faces. "Ladies please," Jack said, trying to turn on the charm.
"Can it Romeo," Lisa grumbled. "I've heard all about you. Katie's dad, the guy that got Kellie pregnant twice now."
"Then vanished," Ann added. "And now you have the balls to try and turn on the charm with two grown women who are old enough to be your mothers."
"Mom, Ann," Katie stated, not wanting to see Lisa and Ann tear into her father. "Dad knows he screwed up. Can you guys RIP into him later I kind of wanted to talk with all of you."
Lisa and Ann nodded, giving Jack a sour look before sitting down. "Well," Katie breathed. "I am really happy everyone could make it. It really means alot to have all of you here."
"Wouldnt of missed it," Jack smiled.
Kellie noticed Katie smile yet something was bugging her. The young woman shifted uncomfortably as she gazed at everyone. "So what's bothering you Katie," Kellie asked.
"It has to do with the wedding," Katie said meekly. "Mom, dad, I'm so happy you both are here but I wanted to say this to you in person."
"Your not kicking us out are you," Kellie asked, her throat tightening.
"What NO," Katie said quickly. "No what I was going to say was that I wanted Lisa to walk me down the aisle."
"Me," Lisa said, genuinely surprised.
"Yeah mom you," Katie smiled. Lisa stood slack jawed as she gazed at her adopted daughter.
"Lisa," Katie started. "Listen, I know it's usually the father that walks the bride down but heres the thing. You raised me. When mom, um, died, you took me in. You raised me. I want the honor to be yours."
Lisa was at a loss for words. Kellie could see her kid sister was obviously delighted, her eyes dampening with tears as she tried to possess this. As Kellie looked towards Jack she could see that he appeared both disheartened and proud of Katie's decision.
"Katie," Kellie said. "I think that would be a wonderful idea. It should be Lisa and I'm pretty sure Jack agrees, right?"
Jack looked at Kellie, taking a deep breath before a small smile spread across his face. "Well," he sighed. "I'll be honest, I would love too but, considering the circumstances and the fact Lisa did raise you. Yeah Lisa should be the one."
Katie smiled, hugging her teenage parents. "Thanks dad," she sniffed.
"I still want a father daughter dance," Jack stated, causing Katie and Kellie to laugh.
"Sure dad no problem," Katie laughed. As the group now began to talk Kellie could only smile, this was going to be a beautiful wedding.
