“Even though it’s not magic, it’s still freaking cool. Why don’t we go try it out at the beach?" Marco grinned.
"Eeeee! Markie that'd be, like, so fun!" Jenny giggled, lifting her leg while she gave her boyfriend a big hug. Although it still lingered in the back of her mind, the idea of going to the beach with Marco made her forget exactly what she was frustrated about.
"Well I'm glad baby." He said softly, giving her a quick kiss. "I figured we could go later this week, but clearly you need a break." He laughed and started to walk inside his house.
Jenny stood there for a moment, with her eyebrows furrowed, trying to think of what her boyfriend was talking about. Just before he walked inside, he turned around and gave her a smile.
"You coming?" He asked, the camera still secure in his hand.
"Yeah!" She giggled, acting bubbly as ever.
"Darnit." She thought to herself as she followed him inside. "I still feel weird about that camera thingie I bought for Markie. Why don't I remember, like, exactly where I got it? Why did I think it was magic again... my parents right?" She wondered.
She searched through her memories, trying to figure out what was bugging her. She remembered her parents just fine, no matter how hard she thought. She remembered her mother Patty helping her with her first period, her father Nate teaching her how to ride a bike, their faces when she first danced with them at her aunt's wedding... nothing was different, so why did she feel like something was wrong?
"Ugh, I gotta... stop thinking about this stupid feeling." She murmured. "Thinking is what Markie does, I should just enjoy my date at the beach." She thought to herself as she walked into Mark's bedroom.
"Here's your extra bathing suit you left here." Mark said handing her a cute blue one piece.
"Aww, I've, like, been wondering where this suit was!" She laughed.
"Hmmhmm, figured you'd forget." Marco laughed. He loved his girlfriend, and thought she was the kindest girl, but she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. "Im gonna grab my trunks from the laundry room, then we can walk to the beach."
"Gosh, I'm so lucky to be with you. And, like, it's so nice that you're near the beach and stuff." She smiled, twirling her curly brown hair with her manicured pointer finger.
"Aww, thanks baby." He blew her a kiss before running off.
"Yeah, I just need to forget about my doubts." Jenny thought to herself. "It's like, just an old camera."

Jenny was loving every second of this. She was lying on a towel, partially under an umbrella, and was letting her eyes stay closed as she felt the warm breeze blow past her hair. Marco laid next to her, and both were lounging around at the local beach. Although it was a large area, it was still more crowded than ever.
"Hey, Jenny." Marco nudged her.
"mmm?" She asked, nearly half asleep.
"I'm gonna test out this polaroid you bought me on some beachgoers, then I thought we could take some selfies together after a swim?" He suggested.
"What's a polar ode?" She yawned. "Oh, the old camera thingie you mean." She laughed.
"Hahaha!" Marco laughed back. "You're so cute baby." He chuckled.
Jenny yawned and went back to enjoying the breeze, while Marco surveyed the beach for potential photo ops. He had no way of knowing that every picture he took would alter reality randomly. Who does he take pictures of?
