Amy had landed on a red space. She read the card that had flipped onto the board.

‘Hmm, it’s asking what I wouldn’t like. Well I certainly wouldn’t want green skin’
‘What’s wrong with green skin?’ asked Jen ‘Think outside the square. If you had green skin maybe you could photosynthisise and you wouldn’t need to eat anymore’
‘Everyone to their own I suppose’ Amy sounded sarcastic. ‘I’m happy to stick with normal colored skin. I wouldn’t want to be a freak’
They were disturbed by the doorbell ringing. Eric got up and opened the door. Waiting outside was Nicky, his last expected guest. “Hi come in’ Eric couldn’t help admiring Nicky, she was probably the best looking girl he knew. A very leggy blonde. Tonight she was wearing a green dress which showed off her amazing figure.
Nicky gave him a hug and a kiss ‘Happy birthday Eric’ Eric felt her breasts pushing against his chest. He was also overwhelmed by her scent. ‘What are you up to? Are the others here?’ Nicky was the last part of the threesome of girls who had befriended Eric. Nicky was a workmate of Amy’s who had just moved back to town after being away studying. She was a year older than Amy, Jen and Eric. Eric did not know her as well as the other two.

By now they had walked back to the dining room and Nicky greeted Amy and Jen. ‘No Angus tonight?’ asked Amy.
‘No he’s working late again. He has some interstate colleagues over ansd they are working on some kind of deal ’ Angus was Nicky’s 30 year old boyfriend. Eric had only met him once. He came across as a very aggressive alpha male. Eric was happy that Angus had chosen not to come.
Nicky saw the game laid out on the table. ‘Can I join in?’
‘Well I can’t see why not’ said Eric ‘We have only had a couple of turns each’
‘I can start at the beginning’ suggested Nicky
‘Well take a seat and have a toss while I get everyone some drinks. What would you like?’
‘A rum and coke for me’ said Nicky
‘I’ll stick with the white wine’ said Amy
‘Same with me’ said Jen.
‘Actually I’ll change my mind and have a wine as well’ said Nicky who had just taken Eric’s seat. ‘Okay so what do I have to do?’
‘Just toss the two dice. Then watch how the pieces move themselves. It’s amazing’ said Jen
