A faint "Mooo" reminded me of the farmer's cows at the edge of our neighborhood, so I ran inside and threw on a hoodie, hoping it would shadow my face and beak when I left the house. I didn't care much about the tail, as people would just think it was one of those Furry attachments, and my extra arms would be hidden beneath the zip-up.
Racing out the front door, I grabbed my bike from the yard and hopped on, pedaling as fast as I could down the street. I'd tucked the device into the front pocket of the hoodie, and was using one hand to hold it against my stomach so it wouldn't tumble out. I was so freaking excited to keep experimenting with this thing!
As the fence holding the cattle came in to view, I slowed my bike before hiding it in some bushes. Luckily the houses thinned out here and there was a bit of woods bordering the farmer's field between the subdivision and the pasture. There were a couple of cows in the distance and I hoped the device could scan that far! I aimed and pointed, clicking the button and almost forgetting to cover my eyes as the flash zapped across the field. The cows let out startled "MOOOs!" as their stats popped up on the device's screen.
"I know exactly what to change next" you thought as you scrolled down to the cow's hind legs. Making sure to highlight everything from the thighs down, you then kicked off your shoes in preparation. Pointing the device somewhere around your knees, you crossed the fingers of your other hand, squeezed your eyes shut and pulled the trigger.
Warmth and a prickling engulfed your legs, and you could immediately feel coarse hairs pressing against the insides of your jeans. Your thighs bulked up quickly, straining the denim, and you felt a pulling in the arches of your feet. You sat down, careful not to squish your tail, and watched as your big toes elongated, the nails spreading and darkening as some of your toes shrank and seemed to disappear. Your feet stretched as your hooves continued to form, and black fur poked out the bottom of your jeans before encasing your heels and arches. Just as it reached the dark cloven hooves that had replaced your human feet, you felt the seams split at your hips, no longer able to encase your bovine legs.
You tapped your new hooves on the ground with glee, throwing your hoodie off and lying back to wriggle your ant arms through the long grass. Rolling over, you experimented with pushing yourself up with your extra limbs, surprised by how strong they were. Easiest push-ups ever! Your tail wagged happily as you got your hooves under you, teetering for a second as you adjusted to your new stance. Your pants and underwear were in tatters in the grass, but since thick, coarse fur now covered your lower half, you weren't bothered by the partial nudity. In fact, since no one was around and the trees shielded you from anyone that might happen by, you decided to lose your t-shirt as well. You weren't sure what you were going to change next, but you didn't think clothes would be necessary much longer!
