Jennifer was continuing to have fun with school. The strict regime was a bit stressful however.
Her sewing class was having a positive impact on her ability to keep her uniform maintained. She won an award for best kept uniform in grade 7. Jennifer had other successful experiences as well, becoming president of the astronomy club. She was able to lead an eclipse watching event and asteroid spotting event, much to her glee.
In science Jennifer started learning about ecosystems, matter, and energy in science. She found it interesting to learn about that and think about how it related to other things she learned, such as planetary bodies moving or animals hunting.
She was getting better with equestrianism, focusing on English riding. This interest in riding led her to join the drill and parade team at school.
Over the previous year she took summer camps to improve her goalie skills. She also went to a young gymnasts competition for her age and skill group, winning a bronze in one of the junior gymnastics events. She was starting to lose interest in gymnastics however, as her time in hockey, school, and other activities took up more time.
