Going with the flow

"I... don't know." Lucy answered. "I mean... I think we should hold off on a decision, and just... see how things go? Like, if we feel that sort of bond, we could... try to be siblings again, but if not, we could always stay friends!" The girl decides, before a light blush appears on her face, taking on a more bashful look as she breaks eye contact. "O-Or, uh... As weird as this feels to say about my ex-brother, I guess if we feel a spark of something else, then we could always give that a try..."

Jennifer can't help but blush as well, just at the thought of that last statement. "Uh- I-I don't think..." Then she glances away. "I-I... Thinking of that kind of relationship feels... wrong, considering who I used to be..." Then, after a deep breath, she added, "B-But, if things change, then... I guess that's how it would be... And it would help differentiate 'me' from Jeff..."

Shaking her head of that thought, Jennifer decided to change the topic. "Anyway, um... The pizza should be here soon! We should probably get ready for that to arrive." She suggested with a smile, heading to the sink to wash her hands. She'd already done it a few minutes ago, but it didn't hurt to be as thorough as possible. Though, as she saw the sink, she noticed something she missed the first time... A pang of familiarity struck at the sight of the double sink layout, as if designed for two people to wash their hands or brush their teeth at the same time.

"Yeah, that seems like a good idea." Lucy agreed, stepping to the other sink, which only strengthened that feeling of familiarity. The feeling as if they'd done this before, in a past that no longer exists. The faint memory of giving Lucy assistance as the girl hadn't fully mastered brushing her teeth herself.

Shaking her head of her thoughts, Jennifer finished up, drying her hands off. And when Lucy was done, the two girls left the bathroom together, stepping out into the hallway.

Though, before they went back to join their friends, Lucy grabbed Jennifer's hand to stop her, wanting to bring something up. "Hey, before we go back out there. Should we tell the others..? About how we used to be siblings, and the whole Jeff and Alan thing, I mean." Lucy glanced away, conflicted. "I think they should know, but... It concerns your... existence, I guess, so I don't want to reveal anything you don't want getting out, either."

What is Jennifer's decision?
