It’s a nice Sunday morning and you decide that today would be a good day to go down and visit Chinatown. You have found memories of the place as your parents used to bring you down there twice a month to do some shopping. It was too bad that when your parents divorced the trips to Chinatown had to stop. You always enjoyed going down there because it felt like you were visiting another country. Everything looked so exotic to your child eyes. As you grew up, you always told yourself that one day you would like to return down there but there was always an excuse for you not to go. Today you had no excuse and no commitments, so it’s the perfect time to go down and visit the old place. After a short drive down there, you walk around the main street trying to recognize the places that you came to buy stuff with your parents. The place had changed a lot during the years. You have a hard time finding the stores that you use to come too. Some stores closed down while new ones took their places. Even if you can’t find what you’re looking for, you enjoy your visit immensely. The sight, the sound and the smell all bring back positive memories of the good old days spent as a family. The day goes well when you notice a small shop in an alley. Curiosity gets the better of you and you decide to check it out.
