"Alright, let's get to work. There are tons of people here. Let's start with the obvious and just ask some questions, talk to them, and see what we can find out. Maybe somebody has been here longer than the 10 minutes we have been." Sam turned to walk away.
"Always the smart one with the plan." Dean said to the back of his head. The two brothers walked to a nearby clump of boys.
"Hey. You guys been here long? We were wondering what's fun to do here." Sam smiled and acted as if he was instantly friends with the strangers. The leader of the group, a boy with jet black hair and stunning blue eyes looked him up and down.
"Yeah been here all day. The best spots are pretty crowded but if you sneak around the back alleys you can find some real gems. There is a good bar back over there, best beers around, plus the hookers and the carnival rides are fun if you need a break from all you can drink." He grinned, clearly proud of his debauchery. The other boys snickered and nodded their heads in agreement.
"I don't think I have the money for that." Sam said, trying to bluff the guy in to giving up more information. The black haired guys answer stunned both Sam and Dean when he replied "It's all free. Nothing costs money here bro." The guys laughed and walked off in to the crowd of people.
"Sam, I think this is actually heaven. I mean, how could something possibly be this awesome?" Dean said and spread his arms wide to embrace the entire island before him.
"I don't like it. Nothing is free. Have you noticed yet that all the people here are male? Also everybody looks like... I dunno... I'm not getting many friendly vibes from people here." Sam looked puzzled as he watched the passing crowds. All of the boys were about 18 to 30. "Nobody is old, or young, and it's all males. Something is weird here."
"You would say that, party pooper. Let's go then. I think this place could use a closer look. If there is a curse here we should run the standard tests and see if anybody knows the history here, any vengeful owners buried out behind the fun house, or maybe there is a cursed artifact in the haunted mansion ride." Dean said being only partially sarcastic. Wiggling his fingers when he said haunted mansion was the dead give away he wasn't entirely serious, but the two had seen their share of haunted mansions to know they weren't always fill with ghosts that sing and dance.
Walking down the line of shops, eateries, and carnival rides towards the larger hotels and more nondescript office looking buildings Sam and Dean decide they should check out...
