It has been discovered by doctors that a certain gene exists that makes humans into clowns!
The Clown Gene will typically show up in children and teenagers. It alters their physical appearance, and their vocal chords, giving them goofy, silly voices.
Most who become clowns, try very hard to continue to live normal lives. Some give themselves clown names to feel better about their transformations. As the years pass, the gene has become more common. It can be inherited from one or both parents, and sometimes it can be passed through physical contact, but that's rare.
In one interview with a school teacher who had been a clown. She said that she still has her job, and now because of her silly appearance, all her students give her their full attention, so their grades have improved.
"I'd like to thinks that I am defined not by my condition," she said in a helium voice in the interview "but by what I do. I am a teacher first, and a clown second. Sometimes when I feel stressed-out, all I have to do is honk my nose - it makes me feel better, and it also works great for waking up sleeping students of mine. All I'm saying to the viewers out there, is not to let this clown gene define who you are, but be the 'you' you always were, and always will be. I tell this to all my students who have it like me. And to those who don't have it, please don't treat us any differently, because after all, we're people too, and deserved to be treated like everyone else."
Today, after going to the doctor's, you have been told you have the clown gene, and will start transforming soon.
