Jeff had very little control. When Greg drove him, he felt like he was being forced to run very fast. If he had lungs he'd be panting. Wait, he did have lungs. His radiator was his lungs. Jeff panted the way a jeep does.
Jeff felt thirsty for sweet fuel. Although Jeff remembered being human, his mind had adapted quickly to being a jeep. He didn't desire soda pop like he used to. He thirsted for high octane gasoline.
It did take a bit to get used to being naked. He could feel the wind flow over every inch of skin as he ran and any touch to his back end felt like a touch to his butt. But Jeff quickly accepted that he was now Greg's property. He wanted Greg to use him, to drive him and take care of him.
Greg drove Jeff to meet Greg's friends. Jeff liked some of Greg's friends but not all. When Danny called Jeff "plain" Jeff was offended. Jeff wanted to be more flashy but he didn't want Danny deciding what his new paint job would be. Before Jeff could protest, his radio voice was removed. Jeff worried as he felt like his mouth was being removed when the radio was removed. Then put Jeff on a lift and started removing other parts. They removed Jeff's arms and legs. They opened Jeff's mouth and removed all his internal organs.
Jeff was left there feeling empty for a long time. Then he felt the sandblasting on his skin as if he was taking a high pressure shower. The sand pummeled his skin raw. If he had skin instead of metal, it would be bright red from the beating. Every inch of skin from his head to his feet felt the blast.
It was grueling but then they started putting Jeff back together. The new paint job felt soothing like lotion being rubbed all over his body. He got new arms and legs that felt much bigger and stronger than his old arms and legs. His new sound system also gave him a better sounding voice, richer and full of bass. He felt like a new jeep.
Greg whispered, "Are you okay?"
Jeff whispered back, "Thank you. It was rough but I love the new me. What color am I?"
