Noah had written something he had always dreamed of but had never said out loud. He had always wished that he was never put up for adoption. His current family didn't treat him terribly but it certainly wasn't with love. He had always wondered how things could have been if his real parents never gave him away, what could have been.
Noah finished writing the words and then scoffed at himself. He was about to put the book down when he felt uneasy for a moment and then he leaned over in pain. The world span and before he could do anything else Noah vanished. The book had done its job but not in the way Noah had thought it would.
Noah's parents were extremely poor and the reason they had given him away was because there was no way they could have supported him. Reality had changed now and in this version of reality his mother had gotten her hands on an abortion pill. Noah had been aborted before ever being born.
The room shifted and became an empty guest room as the family downstairs had no idea they had ever had an adopted son. The book fell to the ground as Noah's ownership over the book ended.
