The town of Moon Lake is a small out of the way town in Washington state that most people haven't even heard of. Regardless, it is also home to the Moon Lake College, which attracts students from around the country.
However Moon Lake has a secret, every person in the town was a Werebeast of one kind or another. Newcomers to the town are commonly transformed into one type of Werebeast or another, and there are several different species that make up the town. These are just a few of the most common types that can be found in the town.
Werecats: An all female species of Werebeast, Werecats are almost always lesbian or at least bisexual, and their single gender status requires them to breed with other species. Girl children will always be Werecats, and any boy children will be the same species as their father.
Werehorses: A species who commonly serve as either farmers or athletes around Moon Lake.
Werefoxes: A clever and usually tricky species of Werebeast, they are known for their beautiful women and hunky men.
Weretigers: A species related to Werecats, but are typically larger and have both genders unlike Werecats.
Werebears: A much more feral species of Werebeast, they are usually found in the woods around the town.
Wereracoon: An urban species of Werebeast, their behavior tends to be more diverse than other species.
Weredogs: A tamer version of werewolves, Weredogs tend to be less wolf-like, more dog-like in their behavior.
Wererats: Another more urban species of Werebeast, they tend to live in more squalid conditions than the others instinctively.
Werewolves: You can't beat the classics, the Werewolves make their home here as well, they also commonly live in the forests around the town.
Other species live in town, but these are just the most common. Newcomers are usually given a choice of what species they want to join, but once they are told the town's secret, they have little choice but to join one or they will be forced or killed.
